Over the weekend, Peter joined the team at CBS This Morning to offer his eight favorite beaches. For parents and kids, head to the South where Clearwater, Florida and Tybee Island, Georgia define the family friendly experience. Head far North to Michigan and Maine and you’ll find a natural beach experience. On the East Coast, the recovery from Hurricane Sandy restored some the iconic beach experiences. And out West, there are some off-the beaten-path natural wonders including the highest concentrations of sea glass in the world.
