Philips Arena – Atlanta, GA

Home of the Atlanta Hawks, Philips Arena has a design that more teams should emulate. Rather than have several rings of luxury suites go around the arena, Philips Arena’s suites are entirely situated on one side. The result is an upper deck that’s almost four stories closer to the floor than it otherwise would be. Fans get a better view of the action, while the team is still able to generate revenue from premium seating.

Philips Arena adjoins CNN Center in Downtown Atlanta and is easily accessible on MARTA. Despite the fact that the Hawks have been a playoff team for the past few years, the team doesn’t sellout, so plenty of seats are still available.
