Travel Tip: New Year, New You

OK, raise your hand if you made a New Year resolution to get into better shape. Now, tell me, did you stick to it? Well, I’ve got some places where you can get back into your routine.

When someone says “all-inclusive resort in Antigua,” you probably don’t think boot camp. But Jolly Beach Resort & Spa has just that. They’ve launched a program so you can get a major workout on your next Caribbean vacation.

If you’re one of the 16 million Americans who have discovered yoga, then you’ve probably heard about all the yoga retreats out there. But if doing all yoga, all the time isn’t for you, a group called The Travel Yogi takes groups to places like the Galapagos Islands and Aruba.

That way you can combine the practice with hiking, surfing and standup paddleboarding.

Even hotels are making it easier to keep in shape. Westin has partnered with New Balance to offer guests sneakers and workout clothes for a $5 fee.

There are also some great apps out there like the Couch to 5K running plan and Pocket Yoga that you can use anywhere. So guys…no more excuses.
