If you’re among the population that dreads bouncers asking for your ID (rather than feeling flattered) and consider beer pong tournaments legit weekend entertainment, chances are, you’re already clued into the allure of Cancun as a holiday destination.
The rest of us, however, may need a little convincing.

While traveling through South Africa, veteran traveler Lynn Langway had no desire to bounce up and down Victoria Falls at the end of a bungee cord, or dangle like a snack for sharks inside an Indian Ocean cage.
Nor is she a “coach potato,” content to see the wonders of the world through a tour bus window.
Fortunately, soft adventures abound in South Africa, which travelers can happily experience between the two extremes.

With the week coming to an end and the cameras rolling, Roy Berger steps up to the plate for his first on-camera at-bat in part six of his Fantasy Baseball Camp chronicles.
Today was doubleheader day again with games scheduled at 10:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.
The previous afternoon of rest was appreciated by all, but it was time to get back to fantasy business again—the two last games would decide playoff positions. The eight teams are divided into two divisions with the top two in each division advancing to Friday’s playoff/championship game rounds. The top team in Division A meets the second team in Division B with the other game the reverse order.
Before we played our first game this morning, we discovered that we had won our division.

It’s day five of Fantasy Baseball Camp, and Roy Berger is starting to feel the pain. But it’s all worthwhile when he gets to play a real game in a Major League-caliber stadium.
Today was a relief. Only one game was scheduled for all teams.
After two straight days of baseball and, in my case, using muscles I haven’t used in more than 30 years (and, frankly, some I didn’t know I still had), we all were thrilled to have the afternoon off.

In part four of his baseball fantasy camp chronicles, Roy Berger battles his insecurities and steps up to the plate for his first league game.
For the past couple of mornings the line in the cafeteria has stretched back to the door as 83 campers and 15 staff decided whether they wanted bacon with their eggs. It was almost cruise-ship proportions.
This morning at 8 a.m. the line was different. Everyone rushed to the Clubhouse to see the team selections and who was on which team and managed and coached by whom.
