UFO Shuts Down Chinese Airport

Alien on black background - UFO Shutters Chinese AirportA UFO sighting shut down a Chinese airport for more than an
hour and forced several planes to be rerouted, revealed a report released this
week.

According to the report, the airport at Baotou in Inner Mongolia was shut down
last month when air traffic controllers at the Hohhot Air Traffic Management
Bureau, observed what they believed to be a UFO on their radar.

Airport officials on the ground also sighted a brightly lit craft hovering over
the airport in Baotou, the largest city in Inner Mongolia.

The sighting, which occurred on September 11 at around 8 p.m., caused several
passenger jets to be delayed or diverted because of fears that planes might
collide with the craft.

Three flights to Baotou from Shanghai and Beijing were forced to circle the
airport until the object disappeared, while another two flights were diverted
from Baotou to other airports. Air China Flight 1107 from Beijing was sent to
Erdos Airport, while Juneyao Airlines Flight 1137 from Shanghai landed at
Taiyuan Airport.

After suspending over the Baotou airport for about an hour, the object vanished
and passenger jets were allowed to land.

Reported China UFO footageFootage of the alleged UFO has been circling the Internet for
the last few days. The footage shows a bright light moving erratically in the
sky.

The sighting was the eighth one in China since June of this year, and the second
time that a UFO sighting has shut down a Chinese airport.

In July, another UFO sighting shut down the Xiaoshan Airport in Hangzhou. The
unidentified flying object was first detected by inflight crew members making
their descent into the airport. The crew notified air traffic control of the
sighting, and airport officials quickly grounded outbound flights and diverted
incoming planes to airports in nearby Nigbo and Wuxi.

In all, the sighting in July affected 18 flights and the disrupted airport
operations for about an hour. Chinese officials have claimed the sighting was a
military exercise. The Chinese government has denied any knowledge of the
September 11 Boatou sighting, saying the incident did not happen.

UFOs have been sighted in the Xinjiang, Hunan, Shandong, and Jiangsu provinces.
