Travel Tip: Travel Photography Tips

Sure, you want to capture the moment when traveling but if you don’t know how to take a good photo, you might miss out on those important memories.

When it comes to taking a photo, composition is everything.

Don’t just center the camera at your subject and hope for the best.

When looking at the image, divide your shot into thirds. The horizon, for example, would be in the upper third.

Look for interesting shapes, and experiment with lights and shadows. In fact, a great tip is to shoot the same picture a different times of day.

Take pictures from every possible angle and play with the distance.

And here’s something cool. If your pictures often come out blurry, a tripod can really save the day. But it doesn’t have to be those big, bulky items. There are mini tripods that are just a few inches long and fit easily into a camera case.

Lastly, but just as important, have fun with it. In this digital age, there’s no such thing as a mistake. If you don’t like it, you can always hit delete.
