Looking for something different? The Opposite House in Beijing is hosting “Memory,” a 6-piece porcelain wearable art installation by artist Li Xiaofeng from Red Gate Gallery. The exhibit takes Chinese blue and white porcelain and retools it into contemporary wearable couture.

Just outside Malibu, in between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, the Westlake Village Inn will open Stonehaus on October 14, 2012. It will be both a daytime coffee house and a night time wine bar and tasting room.
