I took this shot in Kep, Cambodia, last April during the "CarnaKep" festival arranged by the local French school. We were simply headed back to town from lunch and ran into the beginning of the parade. Our rickshaw became part of the string of trucks, rickshaws, bicycles and motor scooters in the parade and we welcomed three local ladies and their children as passengers to town! It was a great experience, meeting new people truly feeling part of the community. The kids were so excited, cheering and dancing and I thought my cheeks might be permanently fixed in the wide smile that I wore. Credit: Katie Coakley
