Wild and Wacky New Year’s Eve Celebrations

Temecula is the little-known wine country in Southern California, just a short, one-tank trip from LA or San Diego.Temecula locals honor their grape-growing tradition by dropping a bunch of grapes illuminated with 3,300 LED lights to ring in the New Year.  The festivities include live music, ice skating and family events, with two drops: one at 9 pm and one at midnight. The grape cluster measures 6 feet wide x 12 feet long and weighs approximately 250 lbs.
