Memphis, Tennessee, the Birthplace of Rock n’ Roll is hosting the fifth-annual New Year’s Eve Guitar Drop, with live music while watching a 10-foot guitar descend 100 feet onto Beale Street at midnight. Beale Street gets packed early (advice: take a cab) and the oversized guitar drops at midnight.
