Hidden Gems: Australia–Underground Art

Australia & New Zealand, Culture, Destinations, Hidden Gems, Hidden Gems: Australia, Museums, TV/Videos, Videos on September 14, 2012 9:47 am

Peter has been coming to Australia for decades, and the country never ceases to surprise him. How so? It seems the country is always changing and evolving.

One recent surprise was the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA). While every city claims to have an underground art scene,  in Hobart, Tasmania the art scene is literally underground. MONA is a subterranean museum with off-the-wall exhibits you have to see to believe.

Watch Peter’s underground experience and see even more of Australia’s Hidden Gems.

Check back next Friday for a new Hidden Gems adventure and watch past episodes: Sydney Icons Behind the Scenes, Australia Seaplane Adventures, Australia Hands on Food and Wild Tasmania.
