Visas to Bhutan can be obtained easily no matter which tour operator one uses. There are few hundred companies that organize tours. I have visited the country two times in the last 5 years. You don’t want to visit Bhutan to stay in Amanresort & the like. Most of the $s go out of the country. In the recent years, there are several locally owned boutique properties and they are equally comfortable. I would recommend a night if at all necessary. Some of the Aman guests I ran into, are ignorant and regretful once they arrive in Bhutan and find out that visa/tour can be arranged by many other tour companies at a lot more affordable price. Do your homework! Enjoy your travels
