America’s birthday is just around the corner.

And what better way to celebrate than by honoring everyday Americans who volunteer to risk their lives, for no pay, to protect their communities?

Most people don’t realize it, but 75% of all firefighters in America are volunteers.

And few things reflect — and support — individual American communities more than volunteer fire departments.
