Emily Post would tell you that having good manners is still an important skill. Here are some ways for you to brush up on proper etiquette, even when you’re on the road.

The Montage Laguna Beach in Laguna Beach, California, offers the Art of Etiquette classes for kids aged five to 17.

For $225, students can learn the art of conversation, dining etiquette, and how to host a luncheon.

The Rose and Peabody Hotels in Orlando, Florida offer Mannerly Kids classes for children aged five to 10.

These classes focus on teaching social, business and dining etiquette.

And, of course, it’s not too late for adults to learn good manners.

On Wednesdays, a company called Magnificent Manner, part of the Etiquette Institute, holds classes called Dine Like a Diplomat at The Cincinnatian Hotel in Ohio.

These classes include a seminar on figuring out silverware, which foods to avoid and how to handle embarrassing spills at the table.
