If you’re tired of the same old restaurant experiences, why not try completely new, unusual type of delicious dining?

If you want a really unique dining experience, head to wd~50 in New York for a dash of culinary chemistry.

Sometimes called “molecular gastronomy,” the cuisine at this avant-garde venue offers unexpected treats like fried hollandaise cubes and edamame ice cream.

You can test it all out with a nine-course tasting menu that costs about $125.

On the West Coast, head to San Francisco’s Foreign Cinema, where not only do you get to enjoy your French food out-of-doors, but also watch foreign films while you eat.

And, if you’re pressed for time, try Harvey Washbangers in College Station, Texas, where you can get your laundry washed and folded while you scarf down what some locals say are the best burgers in town.

We’ve got plenty more Truly Unusual Dining Experiences here.
