Save Time, Money, and Travel Better with Peter's Daily Travel Tips

Long delays at airports don’t have to mean gorging on unhealthy foods. An increasing number of U.S. airports are now offering relatively healthy food options.

However, some airports are much better than others.

Chicago O’Hare, Detroit and San Francisco are the most health conscious.

Delayed in Dallas? Most restaurants offer at least one healthy entrée.

Check out Blue Bamboo Xpress or Cool River Café for options.

If you’re traveling through Washington or Miami, you’ll have to look harder.

But you can cut down on your chances of getting stuck by checking out America’s Best Alternate Airports.

And for help on planning your next trip, don’t miss the Travel Planning section.
