Tiny Plattsburgh International Airport near the Canadian border has started to market itself as “Montreal’s US Airport”. And with free parking available, and just an hour’s drive from downtown Montreal, Canadians are definitely on board. “Why not go down to the States? It probably won’t take any more time, you’re going to go through customs anyway. And when you’re down there, you’re going to get cheaper fares and less expensive parking.”

“VANDALS” METICULOUSLY RESTORE CLOCK IN PARIS’ PANTHEON - The Guardian
‘Cultural guerillas’ spent nearly a year secretly restoring the long-defunct clock in the Pantheon in Paris. They went completely unnoticed, and only told officials once they’d completed their work so that they would know to wind the clock to keep it running. The group, called Untergunther, has now been cleared of lawbreaking over the incident.
