You probably already know that eco-friendly travel is a growing trend.

And one of the most environmentally sensitive ways to see the world is by boat—but not just any boat. Here’s where you can jump on for a green travel experience.

Taking a gondola ride in Venice is a classic travel experience that won’t spoil the environment.

In London, a new solar-powered boat now sails around Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park.

In Australia, you can sail the remote Daintree River through a tropical rainforest on a similar solar-powered boat.

Near Phuket, Thailand, bamboo rafts are available for floats down the Krabi River.

And in New York State’s Adirondack Park, there plenty of rivers and streams with canoeing and kayaking options offered by a number of local companies.
