Regarding a.placebetween.us, here’s what Johnny Jet says:

Check out this cool new Web site that incorporates the genius of Google maps!

Just like its name says, a.placebetween.us will find a place to meet right smack in the middle of any two given destinations.

Users simply have to enter in their address or zip code followed by their friend’s address, then choose where would you like to meet.

It can be anywhere … at a hotel, movie theatre, bowling alley … you name it!

I entered in the zip code of where I grew up in Connecticut (06854) followed by my current Los Angeles zip code.

The halfway meeting point turned out to be in Fredonia, Kansas, just outside of Wichita. I’m not sure that I want to grab a coffee with my brother all the way out in Kansas, but now, at least I know what the halfway mark is.

This cool online tool doesn’t just work for U.S. destinations - foreign countries work as well.
