Save Time, Money, and Travel Better with Peter's Daily Travel Tips

Dogs are being catered to like never before. Here are some places where you—and your dog—might both be spoiled.

At the Palmilla Hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico, there’s a doggie turn down service featuring a chew-toy menu and a selection of biscuits.

The Woof Hotel–yes, that’s right, the “Woof Hotel”– in Nantucket has its own fenced-in dog run and a doggie bath to clean off sand after a run on the beach.

There’s a Doggie Directory with popular activities for pets and even a “Yappy Hour” with free doggie treats and “Hair of the Dog” beer.

And Hawaii is probably the newest dog-friendly destination since rules about bringing canines to the island were relaxed in 2003.

Resorts like the Kahala on Oahu offer dog-walking, fresh-baked doggie biscuits, pet pillows, and even a guide to teach dogs commands in Hawaiian.
