Save Time, Money, and Travel Better with Peter's Daily Travel Tips

Did you know that the Internet can help you find affordable gas all over the country? If soaring gas prices are taking too large of a chunk out of your wallet, a number of new websites can help.

GasPriceWatch.com offers a searchable database of recently updated gas prices sent in by readers nationwide.

On this site, you’ll find listings for the U.S. and Canada, organized by state or province, sent in by readers who’ve recently bought gas.

Then there’s GasPriceAlert.com, which works a bit differently.

Gleaning its information directly from gas stations, this site sends you email alerts about good gas prices in your area. Do be aware, though, that neither site guarantees any of the prices.

Want to rent a car that doesn’t guzzle gas? Check out Hybrid Rentals.
